Top 5 Group Writing Project
May 12th, 2007 by Bella
The “Top Five” Group Writing Project at Problogger has finished and I really enjoyed it. It was fun coming up with my personal “Top 5 for Pleasure Island” but the real joy was reading the other entries with their variety of ideas, humor, money making and marketing tips, travel topics; the list goes on and on. The final tally of entries received was 893. Not so surprising since the grand prize was $1001 put up by Chitika. I want to give a great big “Thanks” to Darren for putting on this contest. I have just started my blog and am in the learning stages. His blog has proven to be immensely helpful to me, a daily read. Now with the contest I have gained traffic, comments and links. The final list of all entries can be found here; » Top 5 - Group Writing Project - Full Submission List: ProBlogger Blog Tips
While reading through these many blogs I have found some new travel related posts that were fun and great blogs to add to my reading list. I will share them here as I thought you may enjoy them too:

Some new articles I’ve found for advice on monetizing, marketing and general successful blogging:

Happy Reading~Bella!

Thanks for the link love! I’m glad that you found some articles of interest to your readers, and some new blogs for yourself. I’m afraid it’s going to take me WEEKS to find all of the treasure in this writing project. Top 5 was such a versatile theme, wasn’t it?
If you liked this project, you should consider sending a link into the weekly Carnival of Cities (http://www.hometurfmedia.com/blog/carnival/). It’s MUCH smaller, but that means your articles are likely to be read. I hosted it a week ago, but it moves around the blogosphere. This week it’s on Chattanoogaishome.com. I send an article link whenever I can because it’s fun to participate and to read, and can bring some new readers to our sites. It’s just for travel bloggers and city bloggers. Sounds like it should be right up your alley.
thanks for your information
